The Parish of Milk
Rambling around the Parish. Engaging with human and non human life

The Parish of Milk explained....
My art of inquiry, research practice is framed within, “The Parish of Milk.”
My “neck of the woods.”
I am a country girl and rural isolation, “in the middle of nowhere”, enforces my narrative. It guides my story by showing me to the roots of the land.
Milk binds the story, curdles and creams. Milk is political. It is a substance of nurture, survival, exploitation, and symbolism. By dunking into Milk, delving into Cornish folklore and listening to the dairy maid's tales, I am able to stitch and patch the narrative together.
